Incorporated in the State of Colorado in 1997 by Jerry L. made its home in Colorado Springs with an office in Pueblo. Just prior to this move, Jerry was the General Manager of a large security alarm company franchise in El Paso, Texas. As it so happened, he had in his employ a young installer that Jerry saw potential in. To help him market, sell and do some of the heavy

lifting, he brought John Huntley on board and by July of 1997, both Jerry and John, along with their families, were officially moved to Colorado. The early years saw Jerry and John selling, installing and servicing alarm systems while ACA bumped around from different office spaces, before finally finding a permanent location on Betty Dr. in Colorado Springs. Time passed and the company was growing and doing well, by priding itself on not just providing the best security solutions for their customers, but exceptional service. Meanwhile, Jerry’s twin sons, Anthony and Andrew were graduating high school and heading off to college. After graduating from Alamosa State, they came to work for their dad, adding themselves to the ranks. Eventually, Anthony married his soul mate and moved back to Texas where he remains to this day with his family, running his wife’s family’s expansive ranch. Andrew, remaining behind, began to absorb his brother’s duties along with his own. In 2016, John, hired his own son, David, to come to work for ACA Security after graduating high school. Today, David is running the Pueblo office, managing sales, service, and installations, quickly displacing his fathers place in the heart of our Pueblo customers. By the year 2018, Jerry began the transition to retirement, trusting and selling his business to John and Andrew. He passed along a strong work ethic and his general ethos for business: “Just be fair and be a nice guy.”
Presently, Jerry is fully retired, enjoying his wife, and traveling around the United States in his RV. A well-earned and deserved rest. Andrew and John continue to build and grow the business on the foundation he laid over 25 years ago. ACA Security has itself become a family both within our own company and with our customers, a majority of whom, have been with us during this whole ride. It has been our honor, collaborating with our customers all these years. We have watched them grow, change, and evolve as they have watched ACA Security do the same. Andrew and John look forward to the next 25 years, motivated to continue to cultivate these relationships and develop new ones.
