A fresh look for the Shelter Bistro at Shelter Insurance HQ!

Marathon recently helped update the company’s cafeteria, known as the Shelter Bistro, with new flooring and furniture. Shelter Insurance’s brand colors were incorporated throughout, tying the space back to the company while giving it a fresh, cohesive feel.

The updated Bistro gives employees a welcoming place to grab a bite, step away from their desks, and recharge during the workday.

We love seeing a company’s brand come to life through the details of a space.

Who says design inspiration has to come from a showroom?

The markets and food stands of France are packed with it. Rich reds, leafy greens, sunny yellows, soft neutrals, and every shade in between. Sometimes the best color palette is sitting right in front of you at a produce stand.

And of course, good design takes fuel. A little Parisian food along the way never hurts when you’re keeping the creative ideas flowing.

Consider us inspired... and well fed.

Learning goes beyond the classroom!

University of Missouri Architectural Studies and Design students recently traveled to Grand Rapids for a firsthand look at the ideas, craftsmanship, and manufacturing behind the spaces we use every day.

The trip included a tour of Steelcase headquarters, where students got an inside look at commercial furniture manufacturing and the process behind bringing workplace designs to life.

They also visited the Meyer May House, a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home owned and maintained by Steelcase. The stop gave students a chance to experience one of Wright’s designs in person and see how architecture, interiors, and furnishings work together within a space.

We loved seeing the next generation of designers get an up-close look at both commercial manufacturing and architectural history!

A new space for the next generation of healthcare and public safety professionals! 🎉

On August 4, Lincoln University celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new Health and Security Sciences facility.

Marathon Building Environments is proud to have played a part in bringing this space to life and creating an environment where students can learn, collaborate, and prepare for their future careers.

Congratulations to Lincoln University on this exciting new chapter!

Today marks 25 years since the September 11 attacks.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

A new school year deserves a fresh look.

We're excited to see students return to Lincoln University and experience the latest campus updates, including a refreshed reception station, bold new graphics throughout campus, and custom embroidered chairs that add a personalized finishing touch to the space.

The new graphics bring energy, school pride, and a cohesive look to campus, helping create a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and visitors alike.
