White walls are a choice. Just not always the most interesting one.

Wallpaper is one of the most personal decisions in a home and one of the most avoided. People talk themselves out of it constantly. Too bold. Too specific. What if I get tired of it. But the rooms that feel most alive, most personal, most unmistakably theirs are almost always the ones that made a real choice.

A pattern that means something. A color that sets a mood. A wall that tells you exactly whose house this is before you notice anything else.

This is what install day actually looks like.

Trucks in the driveway. Rugs over shoulders. Bubble wrap everywhere. Art being carried through a room full of boxes. Every surface temporarily a staging ground before it becomes exactly what it was always meant to be.

Install day is many things. Quiet is not one of them. But by the end of it every object has a home, the shelves are styled, and the client walks into their dream home.

Worth every bit of it.

Install day. Looks a lot like HGTV, just sweatier and with significantly more logistics.

The trucks, the team moving furniture through doorways, styling shelves, placing every last object until the room looks like it has always been this way. By the end of the day the house does not look finished. It looks lived in. Like it could not have been any other way.
