This tub stayed for the best reason: the homeowner’s young granddaughters love taking baths in it. She thought about pulling it out when she updated her primary bath, but bath time won, so she refreshed the room around the tub and called us in for the floor. We’d already installed LVP in the main living area, and she loved it enough to bring us back.

Keeping the tub meant working around its angle, plus tight corners and a shower threshold. Our install team took their time with every cut so each tile sits snug along the tub and finishes cleanly in the corners, and the staggered layout keeps the floor looking balanced from every angle.

The floor is COREtec Foussana Limestone, a 12" x 24" luxury vinyl tile with the soft look of natural limestone. It’s waterproof, kidproof, and petproof, which comes in handy with little ones splashing in the tub, and the attached cork backing makes it warmer underfoot than stone or ceramic. It also has a 20 mil wear layer and integrated grout, so there are no grout lines to scrub.
