✨ Something new is coming to Verna’s Forever Florals ✨

I’ve been quietly working on expanding what I offer, and I’m so excited to share a sneak peek of one of my newest preservation pieces.

What makes this one extra special is that these aren’t wedding flowers—they’re peonies I personally hand-picked from a local peony farm. 🌸

This oval tray is designed to beautifully showcase flowers while creating a functional piece you can enjoy for years to come. Whether it holds jewelry, perfumes, or keepsakes, it’s a unique way to preserve the beauty of meaningful blooms.

And if a tray isn’t your style, this piece can easily be displayed as wall art, allowing you to enjoy your flowers as a statement piece in your home.

This beauty is still in the finishing stages, but I couldn’t wait to share it with you. I absolutely love how the vibrant peonies pop against the dark background and walnut wood. ✨

One of my favorite parts of the preservation process is seeing each bouquet for the first time.

Every bouquet tells a different story, and this one is full of beautiful shades of pink with so much texture and dimension. Before a single flower is dried, I’m already imagining how these blooms will be showcased in their final keepsake pieces.

Over the next several weeks, these flowers will be carefully dried and prepared for preservation before they begin their transformation into heirloom artwork.

A couple months ago, I shared the drying process of these flowers… and now they’re officially being designed into this beautiful colorful hexagon for one of my brides 🌸✨

Getting to see the transformation from fresh bouquet ➡️ carefully dried florals ➡️ preserved forever is one of my favorite parts of what I do 🤍 Every flower is placed with intention to keep the bouquet as true to the original as possible while creating a piece my bride can display for years to come.

This mix of colors is giving the perfect romantic garden feel and I am obsessed with how it’s coming together ✨

These blooms were preserved in a custom resin bookend set designed to hold onto the beauty and memories long after the wedding day. Soft pinks, creamy whites, and hints of blue preserved forever in their true 3D form. 🤍

One thing about me — I will absolutely spend hours searching for the perfect flowers.

This weekend, I visited a peony farm to source blooms for a brand new offering coming to Verna’s Forever Florals, and I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at the process.

From hand-selecting each peony to carefully placing every bloom into silica for drying, flower preservation starts long before resin is ever poured. Every color, texture, and bloom stage is chosen intentionally to create the best possible final piece.

These beauties are officially drying and I already cannot wait to show you what they become. 🤍
