Don't come for me on "safe canning practices", these aren't going on the pantry shelf but pickled radishes and pods going in the fridge. However I wanted full flavor fast, so this will sterilize and seal the jar in the fridge for them to be ready to start snacking on in 24 hrs. I have to work again tmrw, so that's it for today.

Grabbed a handful of herbs (sweet marjoram and lemon Basil) and peas and an onion etc. for chicken stir fry this evening...

For my sisters, the close ones, the ones who know. I just gathered these beautiful herbs from my garden to dry this week and create a summer solstice medley. Rose petals, rosemary, lavender and sage, lemon balm, orange thyme, pineapple sage. With a grateful heart just before the rain drops began to fall. On Saturday at the shop I will have a small bath salt station set up for those who would like to create a solstice bath to celebrate the beauty of summer and life in her most abundant time. The charge will be 5 dollars to cover cost of materials. If it's been a bit, it will be a good day to stop back in and see me. When it's gone it's gone, it's not a large harvest. Also I will have a table set up during open art for anyone who want to create their own beaded garden spiders. Again, the cost will be 5 dollars for materials, this is not a guided instruction. Just something for those who want to celebrate summer by creating art from their heart. If you have your own jewelry pliers etc, you might want to bring them.

Sometimes I post things that are considered "controversial" I have had my page for over ten years, I started the shop to find my people and give us a place to gather. Not to please the masses, or shy away from who I am and my values. Due to this however a few weeks ago I changed page to only followers who have been here for 24 hrs can comment on posts. Though I get paid for every comment, my goal is to continue to provide a safe platform for my peeps. If you are new here and aren't sure what that means, here is a rehash on what I mean by values. I value people over politics. People over profits. A person born on earth is my sister or brother in humanity. I don't care what your religion is. Healthcare, who you love, and water, are human rights. I am pro planet. I am anti data center and big corp. If these things are a problem for you, they are a you problem, and I'm ok with us not being friends. Have a blessed Sunday, however you choose to spend it. Today I am going to the garden, that's where I find comfort in this beautiful life of strife.

Used my dried garlic scapes and chive flower heads to make a flavored cooking and seasoning salt. There are lots of herbs you can do this with. Including dill..for a pickle popcorn flavoring or bloody mary salt rim, if that's your gig. 😆
