Please join us in welcoming Shelby Shoffner to the Thayer Design Build team as our Office Administrator! 🎉

If you've called, emailed, scheduled a meeting, or wondered how all the moving pieces behind a remodeling project stay organized, there's a good chance Shelby is helping make it happen. Shelby brings a talent for organization, problem-solving, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, following and playing recreational sports, and keeping everyone on their toes with her quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor. She's also a proud Oregon native, lives in Albany with her husband, and was recently inducted into the Northwest Athletic Conference Hall of Fame Class of 2026. 🏆

We're excited to have Shelby on board and look forward to the many ways she'll continue to support our team and the homeowners we serve throughout the Mid-Willamette Valley.

One of the least glamorous parts of a home remodel is also one of the most important: figuring out what to do with your furniture.

If you’re remodeling a kitchen, bathroom, primary suite, or multiple areas of your home, your furniture can’t simply stay put and hope for the best.

A dining table shoved into the living room may feel manageable for a few days. A sofa covered in plastic in the garage may seem “good enough” for a while.
