On Saturday, we celebrated ICDT Performing Arts Center’s 10th Birthday! 🎉 What a beautiful celebration, and so heartwarming to hear from the ICDT kids, as they were always our focus throughout the design and construction process.
Shayna & Jarusha founded ICDT in 2016 with dreams in their hearts and a mission of “Empowering Youth Through the Arts.”
We broke ground in 2020 with an ICDT staff of four and an incredible team who helped bring the vision to life — Barry & Wynn Architects, R&J Construction, and Guaranteed Plumbing, whose owner at the time also personally invested in the build and believed in the vision for ICDT.
Today, ICDT Performing Arts Center has a staff of 65+ and more than 2,500 participating students! 🤍
Shayna, Jarusha, and their team continue to be my heroes as their mission to foster empowered, flourishing youth through sustained community, wellness, and the power of the performing arts continues stronger than ever — and they are having so much FUN along the way!
