New photography from the Bentonville Adult Recreation Center showcases a vibrant destination designed for adults ages 50 and older to move, connect, and thrive.

Located in downtown Bentonville, the center brings wellness, recreation, and community together through a natatorium, gymnasium, indoor walking track, fitness and group exercise spaces, multipurpose rooms, outdoor pickleball courts, a café, and welcoming places to gather.

The project also thoughtfully preserves portions of the existing brick structure, blending the building’s history with a modern environment created for active living and meaningful connection.

Summit Canyon is officially open at Water World, bringing an exciting new mix of thrills, splash zones, and places to relax. From the Denver area’s first drop-capsule waterslide to family-friendly play pools, this new destination is already making waves.

But what we love most is the story behind it.

Summit Canyon wasn’t designed just for summer visitors. It was created to give Hyland Hills residents more opportunities to play close to home, with affordable access, expanded swim lesson programs, resident-only events, and spaces where families can gather all season long.

That’s what great recreation is all about: creating places that become part of everyday life while giving everyone a reason to make lasting memories.

A new chapter for active adults in Bentonville, Arkansas, begins today.

The Bentonville Adult Recreation Center was designed as a dedicated wellness and social destination for residents ages 50+, providing opportunities to stay active, connected, and engaged in the heart of downtown Bentonville.

The project transformed and expanded the existing Parks and Recreation Administration Building into a vibrant community hub featuring a natatorium, gymnasium, indoor track, fitness and group fitness spaces, multipurpose rooms, outdoor pickleball courts, a café, and inviting gathering spaces.

We’re proud to celebrate this milestone alongside the City of Bentonville, Hight Jackson Associates, project partners, and the many community members whose vision helped bring this facility to life.

Congratulations to the City of Bentonville on creating a place where wellness, recreation, and community come together for generations to come.

We’re proud to celebrate the grand opening of the South Lake Tahoe Recreation & Aquatics Center, a major new investment in community wellness and connection.

Opened on April 18, the 64,000-square-foot, multigenerational facility brings together fitness, aquatics, and community spaces designed for all ages and abilities. Designed with a central gathering place as it’s hub, with views of the pines and sparkling Lake Tahoe, the amenities include a 6-lane lap pool, 2,500 SF activity pool with party room, two-court gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, fitness and weight areas, group exercise studio, arts and crafts spaces, and senior programming. A second-level event center with a deck overlooking Lake Tahoe provides a special venue for community gatherings.

From the opening ceremony to tours and community celebrations, the day marked the start of a vibrant new hub for residents and visitors alike. We’re honored to have partnered with the City of South Lake Tahoe alongside , CORE Construction, and the broader consultant team to bring this vision to life—a place rooted in the heart of its people that celebrates place and the spirit of Lake Tahoe.
