The De Soto Police Department is aware that a car cruise is coming to town on June 6, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and we would like to welcome everyone visiting our community.

Whether you're here for the cruise, to enjoy our restaurants, support local businesses, or simply spend time with friends and family, we hope you have a great time while visiting De Soto.

Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for everyone.

PLEASE DO:

✅ Support our local restaurants and businesses
✅ Obey all traffic laws and posted signs
✅ Respect residents, visitors, and property owners
✅ Keep roadways clear for emergency vehicles
✅ Pick up after yourself and help keep our community clean
✅ Have fun and enjoy your time in De Soto

PLEASE DO NOT:

❌ Participate in burnouts, street racing, or reckless driving
❌ Block roadways, intersections, driveways, or business entrances
❌ Trespass or gather on private property without permission
❌ Damage public or private property
❌ Create disturbances that impact residents or businesses
❌ Leave trash or debris behind

Please be advised that burnouts, reckless driving, property damage of any kind, trespassing, and other violations may result in citations and/or arrests.

The De Soto Police Department will also be deploying department drones in high traffic areas throughout the event. Our FAA Part 107 qualified officers will also be monitoring activity from the air to assist officers and help ensure the safety of visitors and residents alike.

If you see the drone overhead, be sure to wave.

Thank you for visiting De Soto. Drive safely, be respectful, and help us make this a great event for everyone.

** We should add, consuming alcoholic beverages in public is illegal in De Soto.
