Doolittle Gardens

Doolittle Gardens We sell plants(mostly natives)that we grow from seed and some divided from our garden. We sell plants that we grow from seed or divide out of our garden.

We are not an established nursery, but we have been landscaping/gardening our own gardens, beginning in 1997, and started dividing and selling plants at the farmers market in Rolla Mo starting in 2009. In 2020 we started selling from home.
2016, we were approached by the Audubon Trails Nature Center, in Rolla MO. to sell at their first annual fall pollinator festival/native plant sale and have en

joyed the participation ever since. 2022 we will be selling at the first annual Pollinator Festival at Meremac Springs Park Saturday May 21. Our established sales,at home, start May 28 and run through June, depending on the weather and how behind we get in our own gardens. You can make an appointment, through our page,to come by and shop, Thursdays through Monday 9-4. starting May 1 and going through Sept. Be sure to check out our pictures and videos. Send us a message if you have any questions. Happy planting!!!

Due to conflicting appointments for Curts’ sinus issues, we are bummed to announce that we will NOT be attending the spring nature festival at Meremac Springs on Saturday May 2.
It’s a great event to learn about Missouri nature so we encourage you still go.
Our first sale will then be on Saturday,May 16 2026 at 8:00am-1:00 at the Rolla Farmers Market on highway 63 by the JC Penney’s. This is a Missouri native plants sale sponsored by the Master Naturalists so come on out and pick up some beauties for your garden. There will be a few vendors so if we don’t have it someone else might.

With all of the chaos in the world, our gardens can give us focus, solace and probably most importantly, purpose. Get out in your gardens and touch the earth and you’ll find it does great things for your soul. Happy Planting!!!!

Well, it’s been one heck of a year. First I (Ted)was down for three+ weeks due to a huge sciatica flare up and then Curt threw his back out, which took a few weeks to heal(and still may not be)and recently I have been having chest pains again. So, in a couple of weeks I’ll be having a heart catheterization to see what’s up. I expect, at least, another stent but we’ll see. With all that being said and as much as we hate to,unfortunately, we are pulling out of the plant sale/pollinator festival at Audubon on Saturday September 6. We will be taking time to heal so that we can be ready for the spring. There will be other vendors there so please go and get yourself some perennials and help the pollinators.
We’ll see you in the Spring!

Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! It’s always nice to see a lot of table at the end of the sale!
