Helloooooo party peopleeee!!! September is here and we are ready for it!

Tonight is First Friday and Videri Chocolate Factory + DJ Aunt Trey THE Entree are in the house! The shop is open until 9 and we are fully stocked!

This Sunday, we are talking all about Holiday Cacti! Sign up and bring in your plant that needs a little extra love! Don't have one? All good - we have some in stock as we speak!

On the 13th Fragments & Fig LLC will be back in the shop with a Sculpt a Face Planter class! The tickets for this are on Emily's website, so head on over there to sign up! (I forgot to include this link in the newsletter - my bad!)

Our very own Azul will be teaching everyone how to mount Staghorn Ferns on the 20th - be there or be square!

To finish out the month, Houseplant 101 is back! We will cover the basics and attendees will get to repot and take home a beginner friendly plant of their own!

September's First Friday Raleigh is this week and our friends are coming out to play!!

Videri Chocolate Factory is offering a pop-up tasting in the shop with some goodies from the chocolate factory and DJ Aunt Trey THE Entree will be spinning the very best tunes for everyone to enjoy!

It is also truck week, so the shop will be filled to the brim with new pots, plants, and much more! We will be open late until 9pm and hope you'll join us! Happy September!!

The sweetest customer brought this absolute UNIT of a spider plant into the shop today. She inherited this plant about 5 or 6 years ago and was concerned that it wasn't looking as perky and happy as it once was. I got caught up in the moment and forgot to take an after pic, but trust me when I say that this spider plant was looking mighty bonita by the end of things.

We talked about the overall health of the plant (which was incredible) and how to adjust a few things to make sure it kept thriving. We decided to keep it simple and gave the pups a bit of a chop -- over the course of about 10 minutes of trimming, this plant completely transformed into the beautiful specimen that she was used to seeing. She saw her plant as sad and unhappy but we saw her plant as an absolute showstopper that just needed a little TLC!

While caring for the plant, we talked about mental health and how sometimes our plants bare the brunt of life's most chaotic moments. I was reminded of a time when my family came over to help me sort through my plants when I needed it most. Sometimes we just need an extra hand and some reassurance that things are going to be okay.

This is a round-about way of saying that no matter what you, or your plants, may be going through, we are on your team. We have all had our own struggles - both personally and with our plants - so know that we are always here to help and we are so grateful for your trust!

Today is Leah's last day with us at Copperline and we are sad about it, y'all! Leah has been with us for about 1.5 years and she has been such an incredible addition to the team. Her laughter, her delicious lunches, her willingness to be goofy, and her endless kindness has been such a value add. There is already a biggol Leah-shaped hole forming in our hearts! The good news is that she will be working full-time at her dream job nearby - we are beyond excited for her!

Leah, thank you for spending so much time with us and allowing us to get to know and love you! You will be missed, and you better not be a stranger!

Everyone should tell Leah how much she is loved in the comments - just sayin!

Australian Tree Ferns are back in the shop and we are so very smitten! These lacey ferns love bright-indirect light and a good bit of moisture. (We find them easiest to care for when they sit in a little saucer of water!)

They get the name "Tree Fern" because as they grow from the center, their outermost leaves die back to reveal a beautiful fuzzy trunk! I've seen some in conservatories pushing 10+ feet in height!

Swing by the shop to check them out for yourself - if you love to nurture your plants, this is a great one to add to the collection!

Venus fly traps are back in stock - along with a handful of Sudews and Pinguiculas! These FLY off the shelves each time we restock, so come and gettum!

All of our Carnivorous plants are grown locally here in NC, so you know they're incredible!

Just gonna slide this on in here real quick...

All plants are 20% off this Saturday and Sunday!

Why? Because we have a truck coming in next week and we need to make some room!

Also, frankly, it's been pretty slow these last 2 months and we miss seeing you, so we are luring you in with a lil discount. Is it working!? We don't do sales often, so get your little b***y on down to the shop!

The shop is full of so many summertime surprises! From Aloe Vera to ZZs, we have tons of plants that enjoy soaking up the rays!

Some of our current faves are the Philodendron Florida Ghost, Lithops, Ponytail Palms, Peperomia, Jade Plants, Aloe Vera, and assorted Cacti! Many of these bad boys love bright light and want to dry out well between waterings - making them excellent plants to add to the collection even if you're about to head out of town!

Stop by the shop and come see for yourself! We would love to see you (and your dogs!)
