Wendel’s Five Bugles Design team partnered with the Village of Harrison, WI on a conceptual study for the replacement of Fire Station 70. The facility spans more than 26,000 square feet and includes living quarters as an alternate bid, allowing the Village to plan today while keeping future needs in view. Wendel is also providing Construction Management services, with an anticipated move-in of June 2026.

Our Public Safety team is proud to support the Selkirk Fire District as their new headquarters takes shape. During a recent site visit, local STEAM students explored the project and saw how thoughtful design, skilled construction, and strong community partnerships create spaces that keep people safe. Kiel Sadowsky and Mike Wilkinson helped lead the visit, guiding students through the site and showing how ideas become real-world facilities that serve the community. Read the story on our website.

It's ! The public safety team at Wendel’s Five Bugles Design and Mitchell Associates Architects is excited to share recent construction photos of the new 23,469-square-foot Selkirk Fire Headquarters project, where the steel structure is nearly complete. Masonry work will follow, marking the beginning of the building envelope construction. Project completion is expected in summer 2026, with our team providing design and Master Builder services.

Congratulations to the Cloquet Area Fire District on the groundbreaking of their new headquarters! Wendel’s Five Bugles Design and Mitchell Associates Architects started conceptual planning for this new fire station in 2017! We are excited to see this project finally come to this exciting day, and can’t wait to see what the final product looks like after construction!

Congratulations to the Selkirk Fire District and its Commissioners for breaking ground on its new fire station headquarters. Wendel’s Five Bugles Design and Mitchell Associates Architects have been on this journey with the District as the architect since 2012. Now, Wendel will provide Master Builder services for the district, managing construction for the duration of the project.

Wendel’s Mitchell Associates Architects Project Architect Bob Mitchell and Emergency Services Market Leader Kenneth Gale recently presented the proposed renovation/addition project to the Town of Marlborough residents. This informational presentation provided the residents with a comprehensive overview of the project prior to its scheduled bond referendum vote soon. Attendees all mentioned their gratitude to the Marlboro Fire Department and acknowledged the need to modernize the 50-year-old fire station.
