Start the Book Club You Keep Talking About

You don’t need a perfect plan, a fancy space, or ten committed members to start a book club, you just need to send the first text!

📚Start small
Three or four friends who actually read is better than a group chat of twenty who never show up. Quality over headcount.

📕Pick the first book together, then take turns
Let each member choose in rotation so the club doesn’t become one person’s personal reading list…it also means you’ll read outside your comfort zone!

📗Keep the schedule realistic
Once a month is the sweet spot for most people.

📘Make it about connection, not homework!
Good snacks, a cozy spot, and a loose set of discussion questions go further than a strict syllabus. If someone didn’t finish the book, they still get a seat at the table.

📙Rotate hosting
It spreads the effort and gives everyone a reason to look forward to their turn.

The best book clubs aren’t the ones with the most rules, they’re the ones people actually want to keep coming back to!
