Veneer touch up!
This table had two air freshener marks. The oils in fresheners can dissolve finish and the color underneath, which it did.

I blended those out, touched up the color, and resealed the top.
Same piece, restored and life extended.

“Claire’s Cottage” refresh.
I painted at my grandma’s, hung some floating shelves, re-did a nightstand, and straightened up her decor.

But really I just wanted to show off her ridiculously adorable house we built a while back. Special appearances of my stunner of a Great Grandmother and Mammaw’s roses I couldn’t stop staring at. 😍

Wall color: Dried Thyme

New business cards! 😍

Shout out to Minuteman Press, Springdale for the excellent service, quick turn around, and natural fiber paper options made from post-consumer waste. And for remembering me even after about 5 years. 🫣🤣

Cute table update!
I shortened the legs about 5 inches, fixed one that was split, and gave it a soft green facelift in SW Green Onyx.

Fun fact: I first painted it in Boreal Forest but it was too dark in the home so I redid it. 🙃

I’d somewhat forgotten about this sweet door I made my grandma until it caught my eye yesterday. An old screen door converted to a bathroom door on sliding hardware.

It’s still in such great shape, about 6 years later. It has a shower curtain style back to handle bathroom moisture and the front was fitted with a ruffled voile curtain and a fabric she chose down below.

This was quite an undertaking back in my baby “maker” days. Still proud of it.

If you’re in the trades and near Northwest Arkansas, you need to know about Timberwolf Woodcrafter's Supply in Rogers.
In addition to gorgeous slabs, they have all the best supplies from rubiomonocoatusa to Festool and they rep local with Ol Loggin Sawmill and more!!

I gotta stay out of there or I’ll go broke but you should totally go! 😉

First big project of the year complete! I love a piece with a story and bringing life back to meaningful pieces.

This table has been in its family for many years and came to me well-loved, wobbly, and multi-colored. I used nearly every tool in the arsenal, rebuilt it top to bottom, stripped it down and topped it off with a facelift, even tone, and a durable finish to last another generation.

We’re all thrilled with the result!
