We have officially started repair and restoration work of the last two homes that we had on our schedule from Hurricane Helene damage. This is a happy day that we have long been looking forward to. These families have waited so long and the insurance back and forth has been trying but they have shown such fortitude through it all. We can't wait to get them back into their homes safe and sound.

Breaking ground on our new construction build! We are excited to share this project with you. This is early underbrush clearing to pin the property for the house seat and apply for the building permit, so slow going for a bit. We are excited to see progress beginning! Stay tuned. . . 😃

As we reflect on one year post Helene, HMH is humbled to have been able to help restore (along with our wonderful teams 🙂) 23 homes. Yet the work continues. We still have 9 homes that we are either currently working to restore, have on the schedule, or are continuing to work with the insurance companies. The people we have met have been such an inspiration to Clarissa and I, they have endured so much hardship, trauma, and stress, many times while still live in their damaged, tarped up home. Their strength, patience (insurance is hard🫤), resilience, and kind heart is truly mind-blowing.
We are so grateful to have been able to contribute, even a tiny part, to helping our community get back on their feet. It has been a challenging year, but we will be stronger from the other side.

It is Official. We have changed our name to Half Moon Hollow Builders LLC.
Same owners, same service, same attention to details and same gratitude to everyone who trusts us with the most expensive projects they will ever be a part of throughout their life.
We are moving into the next phase of builds, house remodels, additions and kitchen remodels.

So many homes and families still living with the destruction Helene left in her wake. We at HMH have been working to help as many homes be made whole again as possible. It has been a huge learning curve working with clients to advocate on their behalf with the insurance companies. Not something we are used to dealing with in WNC, but this is our community and we are striving to do our part to rebuild and recover. The mold remediation is under way at this home... it is quite an ordeal for the homeowner but we will make sure it is a safe environment for her once again. If we can help you please reach out... we are stretched but will do out best to reach back out to you as soon as possible. We hear from new people every day saying that they have been unable to get a contractor out to their house (5 weeks into this) and we hear you and will do our best to work with you during this unprecedented time in our community. ❤️‍🩹🤝❤️‍🩹
