Quartzite is having a moment. But at Delaney's Designs, it has been a quiet staple for years.

The reason is simple. It carries the durability of granite and the aesthetic of marble, without asking you to choose between the two. It is a material that earns its place in a home built to last.

There is something about a lake house this time of year. When it starts to fill with more than just your immediate family.

Parents, grown children, grandkids. Different ages, different schedules, different rhythms. All sharing the same roof and somehow making it work.

Thoughtful design is what makes that work. In this bunk room, that means durable materials, built-in storage, and a layout considered for every age and every stage. Not just enough space for everyone, but space that actually works for everyone.

Looking back on our first time at High Point, it certainly won’t be our last.

We came with a clear objective: to expand our vendor partners in a way that adds both range and intention to our work. Not just in aesthetic, but in how our clients are supported from start to finish.

We look beyond the product. The teams behind it, the processes in place, and the level of service they bring all matter just as much. We left with eight new partners spanning linens, furniture, and lighting, each one thoughtfully selected with our clients’ experience in mind.

Safe to say, we’ll be back next year, High Point.

After more than 20 years in their home, this space was ready for a shift.

Once a shared bathroom for two boys growing up, it now reflects a new season of life. We leaned into a more elevated, masculine direction, with the depth of black porcelain balanced by warm, organic materials and clean, modern lines.

A thoughtful update for a home they love, designed for how they live today.

Spring in North Dallas brings a little bit of everything. Rain, pollen, busy schedules, and a lot of coming and going. It tends to arrive right at your front door.

A well considered mudroom gives it all somewhere to land. Shoes, bags, jackets, the everyday items that belong at the threshold and nowhere else.
