BIG BIG BIG NEWS 🎨✨

We’re so excited to share that Grimes’ first mural will be painted this spring!

This project has truly been a community collaboration. We worked alongside the City of Grimes to secure grant funding from BRAVO, partnered with DCG Art students during the design process, and collaborated with our muralist , a DCG graduate, who brought incredible ideas inspired by the Grimes community. Courtney worked closely with the students to turn those ideas into one final design and she’ll be the one bringing it to life on the wall.

Community requests helped shape the vision, including:
• Honoring local history
• Featuring Grimes landmarks
• Creating an interactive, Instagram-worthy photo spot

Thanks to BRAVO funding and a generous paint donation from Sherwin-Williams, a large portion of the project is covered. There are still additional costs of $4,500–$5,000.
