Now THIS is a backyard built for cooking. 🔥

We packed this setup with a built-in grill, dedicated cooking station, outdoor refrigeration, stainless steel cabinets and drawers, plus a large countertop with plenty of room to prep and serve.

The best part is having everything within reach. Food on the grill, drinks staying cold, storage underneath, and everyone hanging out just a few feet away.

This space was just sitting there.

There was an empty dirt area, a brick wall closing everything in, and not much reason for the homeowners to use this part of the property.

We removed what wasn’t helping the space and installed pavers around the existing walkway, creating a much cleaner and more open area.

It’s not our biggest transformation, but that’s exactly what we like about it. You don’t always need a massive project to make your home feel noticeably better.

This is exactly why we love a good before and after.

The pool was already there, but the space around it wasn’t doing much for the homeowners. We expanded the hardscape, added a clean paver surface, and gave them a much better place to actually enjoy the pool.

Now there’s room for lounge chairs, a table, and a lot more time outside.
Sometimes the pool isn’t what needs changing. It’s everything around it.

Here’s something homeowners don’t always get to see: some of the most important work on a patio gets covered up before the project is finished.

The preparation underneath matters. If the base isn’t properly prepared and compacted, you can end up with movement, settling, and uneven areas later.

That’s why we don’t rush this part. We want to get the foundation right before we start worrying about how beautiful the finished patio looks.

If you’re planning a patio, ask your contractor what’s going underneath it. It matters more than you might think.

We love a before and after where you have to look twice to make sure it’s the same backyard.

When we started, this was mostly open lawn. We laid out the new patio area, got into the excavation and preparation, and built out a much larger space for the homeowners to actually use.

Now they have plenty of room to make it their own, whether that means furniture, a dining area, a grill, or simply more space to spend time outside.

Quite a change from where we started.
