Pattern, mirror shape, and stone can turn even the smallest bathroom into a statement. From a dramatic floating vanity under a geometric wallpaper to a soft arched mirror against a palm leaf print, no two bathrooms in our work look the same. We treat scale as an opportunity rather than a limitation, letting tile, hardware, and light give each room its own mood, whether it is a powder room off the entry or a primary retreat. A bathroom should feel just as considered as the rest of the home.

We have just kicked off two new construction projects with Unika Homes, and we are deep into selecting exterior finishes. Brick samples arrived today, which means we can move on to slurry color for one home and a natural brick finish for the other. From there it is window, gutter, and metal roof colors, paint for the eaves, soffits, and shutters, and cast stone detail around one home's arched front door. Two new builds, two great neighborhoods, and a lot of good decisions still ahead.

We love designing for the youngest members of a family, and this set of twin daughters made the process especially meaningful. They are sweet, smart, and endlessly creative, and this was the first time each of them had a room of her own. We gave them a place to study, curl up with a book, or come together when they want to share the space. The two rooms are similar enough to feel connected, individual enough to feel like each girl's own.

This is one of our favorite stages to walk through. A potential buyer can already see themselves moving from room to room, noticing the sight lines we planned, how the kitchen island works, how the study could flex between a couch and a desk. Everything we put into it from day one starts to come together right here, before a single piece of furniture is in place. It is the moment we get to imagine someone falling in love with this house.

We love designing with your memories in mind. The most personal homes aren't created by starting from a blank slate, but by finding brilliant ways to showcase the story of how you got here.

When our client came to us, she brought a rich, personal history as the former owner of a fine china boutique. Her incredible collection wasn't something to hide or treat as an afterthought; it was a cornerstone of her story that deserved a thoughtful, intentional stage.

To honor her history while maintaining a serene, elevated atmosphere, we crafted a two-part solution:

The Showcase: We designed glass-front cabinetry right in the kitchen, framing her exquisite porcelain pieces like artwork so her favorite memories are on full display every day.

The Smart Storage: To house the broader collection without visual clutter, we created custom built-in cabinetry in the living room with detailed, closed millwork doors—keeping everything protected and neatly stored away.

When you design with your history in mind, heirlooms stop feeling like delicate relics and start living naturally within your everyday routine. It’s how we turn personal legacy into effortless, living art.

Inspired by the natural world, we bypassed stark minimalist whites to embrace a grounded earth tone palette; creating a central gathering hub that feels both incredibly sophisticated and genuinely comforting.

When your most frequented spaces are designed with an emphasis on soft tones and natural flow, the entire house feels more peaceful. It proves that a beautiful life truly does begin at home.

The view from your desk matters.

For this River Oaks project, we wanted a workspace that felt as intentional as the rest of the home. Deep navy walls to ground the space, warm white oak accents, and natural light flooding in from both sides. To the left, a view of the neighborhood trees, and to the right, a private courtyard overlooking the pool.

It’s the kind of environment that makes "working from home" feel less like a compromise and more like a luxury.

Not every project looks impressive in the middle of the mess. Dust, noise, delays, decisions, changes. That’s part of building something custom.
But this is the stage where the vision starts taking shape. The details get refined, the layers come together, and the home begins to tell its story.

From digital pixels to physical progress.

The journey from a rendering to a job site is paved with hundreds of tiny, intentional decisions. We don’t just design for the "after" photo; we design for the way a family will actually live in the space, especially in a coastal home like this one.

Seeing this Galveston project come to life has been such a rewarding process. Delaney, Kayra, and the whole team have worked so hard to get us here. Seeing the renderings we obsessed over finally transition into physical cabinets is a major milestone. We’ve traded floor plans for site meetings and the vision is officially taking shape.

Progress is the bridge between a dream and a home. Next up: paint.
