Your designer isn’t a finishing touch.
By the time most clients call me, the walls are up, the outlets are placed, and the layout is locked. Here’s what I wish every homeowner knew:
1️⃣ Layout gets decided early. Rooms are easy to fix on paper and expensive to fix in framing.
2️⃣ Placement can’t be redone cheaply. Outlets, lighting, and plumbing lines belong in the plan before they’re in the wall.
3️⃣ Everything works together. Finishes, fixtures, and furniture chosen alongside the build, not after it, look intentional instead of patched in.
I recommend for everyone to bring in your designer before the blueprints are final. It’s the cheapest decision in the whole project.
Planning a new build? We would love to help with the design process! Comment BUILD and a member from our team will reach out.
