You may know the Peggy Martin Rose for its clusters of pink blooms, but the story behind it is what makes this rose so special.

When Hurricane Katrina devastated Peggy Martin’s home and garden in Louisiana, one climbing rose managed to survive after being submerged in floodwater for weeks. It was later named the Peggy Martin rose and became a symbol of hope and resilience across the Gulf Coast. 🌹
