An old chest makes a wonderful welcome in an entry, and a well-loved table is always ready for another family dinner. We love finding places for antiques where they’ll be used and enjoyed every day. A few new companions help them feel right at home 🕰️

We wouldn’t mind being the last one ready in any of these 🛁 Sharing a few favorite baths as we head into the weekend. Wishing everyone a lovely Friday!

Cooler days call for a good book and a comfortable chair 📚 We love rooms with books close at hand, from shelves filled with old favorites to a small stack beside the bed. Add a reading lamp and a place to put your tea, and the afternoon is spoken for.

A few postcards from a summer worth remembering 🌷 Sandy’s travels through Italy brought home plenty of inspiration, and a trip to Maine took us back to a recently completed project we can’t wait to share.

Our fall newsletter catches up on those adventures, along with early glimpses of what’s ahead in the studio. Visit the link below to read it, and sign up to have our next note delivered to your inbox 💚

Everyone has a favorite seat in the house 🛋️ The chair beside the window, the sofa with room for everyone, or the little corner that’s just right for morning coffee. We love giving a room a few places to land, each with its own personality and a comfortable spot to settle in.

Some of the pieces in Sarah’s home have been with her for decades, and others have been in her family even longer 🌿 Collected over time, they’ve found their places alongside new favorites, making each room feel very much her own.

It’s how we like to live with antiques, giving them a place in everyday life as their stories continue 🕰️

A peek behind the scenes from our latest shoot in Kiawah! There’s always plenty happening behind the camera, and it was fun sharing a few days back in this home as we prepared it for its close-up 🌿

There are so many special details here, from Ellen’s custom needlework in the guest suite to the powder room’s charming de Gournay wallcovering 🦩 We can’t wait to share it all with you soon!

It truly takes a village to bring these shoots to life and I’m so grateful for the talented, hardworking people in our corner who make it all feel like such a breeze 💚
