Investing versus collecting. Can art hold its value, and how do you make informed decisions when purchasing?

We sat down with Mary Hammon of C2 Art Advisors to discuss the art of collecting, the importance of buying wisely, and how to build a collection that is both personally meaningful and thoughtfully considered from an investment perspective.

A living room should feel as inviting as it is sophisticated. Comfortable yet refined, lived-in yet polished. A balance of considered design and everyday living that feels both timeless and effortless.

A quiet nook in a formal living room is one of my favorite seating arrangements. It brings a sense of versatility to the space. A place to linger over morning coffee, settle in with your iPad, or enjoy a cocktail with a friend. Thoughtful moments like this make a formal living room feel all the more livable. Soft morning light drapes across the curved banquette, catching the marble just right.
