Our little town got hit pretty hard by the storm Wednesday night and there were a few local hobby farms that needed some water. I’ve got 3,000 gallons on the water truck. 💦🚚

Yes, it was actually still working properly. Yes, it was a flood hazard, but this was a 20-gallon tank and fittings that were quoted at $2,850 by a corporate water softener company to replace for an older couple. 😡

For the most part, the well companies I know and work with want you as a customer for life. We charge accordingly for our work, but we don’t come into your house one time, charge you an outrageous price, and hope we never see you again.

That’s why I always encourage people to get a second opinion, do your research, and use your local well guy. You might be surprised at the difference in pricing and service.

That’s my rant for the day. 🤬

We had a pretty bad storm roll through our area last Saturday, and we ended up with four jobs where lightning damaged and power surges took out the pumps.

On this particular job, I was a little skeptical about raising the tower to pull the pump because of the lightning but we got everything worked out and got the job done.

It’s always a pleasure to receive a review like this—especially from someone you weren’t sure you were going to hear from. It makes all the hard work worth it! 🇺🇸💦

Early bird gets the worm! Had to do a little tree trimming and clear some branches this morning. It’s nice having a smaller rig that can get into these tight jobs. We’re blessed to have a nice, producing well! 💦💦💦💦🇺🇸🇺🇸

Thirsty Thursday 💦

Well, it’s Thirsty Thursday! 🤪 We just completed another nice well replacement. This is an artesian area, so luckily we didn’t have to deal with any of that nonsense!

We did pick up a Harbor Freight ditch pump to try out. The goal was to pump our drilling fluid away from the pond and into the woods, helping keep the yard a little cleaner. Surprisingly, it worked out pretty darn good! 👍

Maybe someday we’ll be able to afford a vacuum truck… but until then, we’ll keep making do with what we’ve got! 😂😂

Well, the recap of what we did today… We call it a drill and hook💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Popped in a nice 5 inch PVC well this morning, ran back to the shop, got the installation truck and had water by 4:00. Before we started drilling , we provided them with our little homemade water barrel so they could use their facilities till they could get their well permit in order. Now they’re good to go again! That’s a great Friday for our little company 💦💦💦💦💦

You know, on these business pages, we always try to show off the work we do, the quality we provide, and the finished product. But the truth is, some days just don’t go as planned. 😂

This new construction well was going perfectly… until that rock decided to fall into our hole while we were trying to set the well pipe. And let me tell you, that little surprise pretty much ruined our day. 🤦‍♂️

We spent two hours drilling, fighting, and trying everything we could to get through that rock, and it just wasn’t giving up.

But that’s where knowledge, experience, and a little determination come in. 💪 After some hard work and a whole lot of patience, we were able to overcome the obstacle and get this new construction the water it needed.

Not every job is easy. Sometimes you have to think outside the box, put in the extra time, and refuse to give up.

At the end of the day, the rock lost… and the water won. 💦😂

That’s the kind of work we’re proud to stand behind — even when the job decides to throw us a curveball!
