For Thornbury, the fireplace became the starting point for the transformation. We replaced the original brick with a lighter stone surround and simplified the mantel, then carried that softer direction throughout the room with warm neutrals, natural textures, and comfortable furnishings. The new palette and materials give the room a softer, more welcoming feel that flows naturally with the rest of the home.⁠
