🐾 MEET LOLA! 💕 Professional Cuddle Bug & Certified Velcro Dog! 🐾

Do you enjoy personal space? Because Lola would like you to reconsider. 😂💕

This sweet girl has one very important mission in life: LOVE HER HUMANS AS MUCH AS HUMANLY (OR DOGGILY) POSSIBLE.

Lola is an affectionate, goofy little love bug who wants nothing more than to be your constant companion. She's happiest snuggled up against her favorite people, but don't let her cuddly personality fool you! She's also got a playful side and loves a good romp before returning to her regularly scheduled snuggle session. 🥹

Here's the scoop on Lola:
💕 Stage 5 Clinger: If you're looking for a dog who thinks you're the greatest thing since sliced cheese, Lola is your girl!
🐾 Playful & Silly: She loves playing with her foster sister but will happily trade playtime for cuddles.
👧 Kid Lover: Lola adores kiddos! Her enthusiasm can sometimes result in a little jumping, so younger kids may need some guidance.
🏡 House-Trained Queen: Fully potty trained AND crate trained! She actually loves her crate and considers it her cozy little sanctuary.
🦴 Smart Cookie: Knows how to sit, loves treats, and is making great progress with her leash manners!
🐶 Other Pets: Lola has lived successfully with dogs and cats, but she is being returned after conflicts with female dogs in her adoptive home. Careful introductions and finding the right pet compatibility will be especially important.

Unfortunately, Lola is looking for a home again, and we're hoping her next stop will be the forever kind. ❤️

She has SO much love to give and just needs someone who appreciates a little shadow following them from room to room. Bonus points if you have a couch and don't mind sharing it. 🛋️

💕 Meet Gillian (aka Gilly)!

Gilly was born May 10, 2026, weighs around 30 lbs (and growing!), and is the smallest of her five siblings!

🧬 Breed mix: Pit Bull, Border Collie, Old English Sheepdog & Poodle. She's got a short, smooth coat and seems to take after the Pit Bull and Border Collie sides of her family!

Gilly is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly! 🥰 She loves other dogs, adores kids, and gets the cutest little bursts of puppy energy. She's also a total sweetheart who loves rolling onto her back for belly rubs, playtime, and ALL the love!

💔 Gilly and her siblings didn't have the best start. Their previous owner dumped all five puppies on a gravel road when they no longer wanted to care for them. Thankfully, they were rescued and given a second chance at the happy lives they deserve.

Now Gilly is ready to find a family of her very own! ❤️

🐶 Her rescue provides age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, flea/tick prevention, microchipping, and any other necessary care.

🛍️ Gilly will be hanging out with us at the Homebound Society booth! We'll also have lots of fun goodies for dogs and their humans, including doormats, keychains, pet accessories, and more! So stop by, do a little shopping, and get some puppy snuggles while you're at it! 🐾

Who knows, you might just fall in love and help us keep our adoption streak going! 🥹❤️

🐶 We'll also have a very special guest keeping us company in our booth! Sweet puppy Jet from Friends of the Friendless Rescue will be hanging out with us! She's available for adoption and looking for her forever home, so be sure to stop by, give her some love, and maybe even meet your new best friend! ❤️

There will also be craft b**r from Cinderblock Brewery, local vendors, and fun activities for you and your pups!

Our "Uninvited Guests Will Be Sacrificed" doormat is perfect for anyone who loves spooky season, has a slightly questionable sense of humor, or just really doesn't want anyone showing up unannounced.

Personally, I think it's perfectly acceptable year-round decor. 🖤

Because nothing says "welcome to our home" quite like a vague threat of ritual sacrifice. 😂

🐾 DOGTOBER FEST IS THIS SUNDAY! 🐾

We're packing up all the fun stuff and heading to Dogtober Fest in Blue Springs this Sunday! 🧡

We'll have lots of goodies for you and your pups, including fun keychains, mini charms, pet tags, doormats, and plenty more! Plus, we'll have our DIY keychain bar where you can mix and match charms to create your own!

🐶 AND we'll have a very special guest!

Our adorable foster puppy, Ian, will be hanging out with us! He's 5 months old, ridiculously sweet, super smart, and currently looking for his forever family through Friends of the Friendless Rescue. Come say hi, get some puppy snuggles, and maybe even fall in love. 🥹💕

I'm a sucker for anything colorful, and these stained-glass-inspired nightlights are one of my favorites! 🌈✨

They're such a fun way to add a little color and cozy lighting to your space without having to commit to a whole new lamp or piece of decor. 😂

I especially love how the colors look when they're all lit up! Perfect for a hallway, bathroom, bedroom, or anywhere that could use a little extra glow.

🐾 MEET DELGADO! 💙 Professional Lounger, Part-Time Pool Party Enthusiast! 🐾

Delgado is a 5-year-old good boy with the perfect balance of couch potato and playful goofball! 🐶

After spending SIX months in the shelter, Delgado finally got his chance to shine in a foster home, where he absolutely flourished! Unfortunately, he's now back in boarding and hoping someone will open their home to him again. 💔

Here's why Delgado deserves a spot on your couch (and probably your lap):
💙 Certified Snuggle Bug: Loves lounging in a comfy chair, cuddling, and pretending he's a lap dog.
💦 Water Obsessed: Give this boy a kiddie pool and he's living his BEST life!
🎾 Play Hard, Nap Harder: Fetch, tug, squeaky toys, and long walks are his jam. Once he's gotten his playtime in, he's happy to relax and entertain himself.
