Did you know the Mint Julep dates all the way back to the 1700s and became famous as the signature drink of the Kentucky Derby? 🏇🌿 Traditionally made with mint, sugar, and bourbon, it's a true Southern classic!

Today we're celebrating one of France's most famous comfort foods — Coq Au Vin (pronounced "cuhk oh van")! 🐔🍄🧄 This classic dish, whose name literally means "rooster in wine," started as a simple peasant meal and has become a beloved culinary masterpiece enjoyed around the world. ❤️

Fun fact: 🇫🇷 King Henry IV of France famously wished for "a chicken in every pot" so that every family could enjoy a hearty meal. And thanks to legendary chef 👩‍🍳 Julia Child, Coq Au Vin became a household favorite in America! She helped bring French cooking into our kitchens and proved that anyone can create something delicious with a little patience and a lot of butter! 🧈😉
