Our team took a trip down the street to celebrate The Refinery's topping out last week.

Sixteen stories of vertical rhythm make up the 147-unit mixed-use development along Main Street with patterned steel, stacked window lines, and a facade that reads tall from the KC Streetcar stop across the street.

After celebrating this milestone, we are one step closer to welcoming new residents in the Crossroads Arts District in 2027!

Last week, members of Generator Studio’s Blackhawks Ice Center project team made their way to Chicago for the Coliseum Summit US.

As the Architect of Record for the expansion, we helped lead attendees on a tour of the facility and sat down with Dan Lehv of the Chicago Blackhawks for a session on the “why” behind the expansion.

The roof's skylights trade sunlight for stage light as the night goes on, and the plaza welcomes you in with its own excitement before you ever sit down: food, drinks, yard games, and room to socialize.

The Houston Comets are back. Four WNBA championships, the league's first dynasty, and we're welcoming them back to Houston with dedicated player spaces inside Toyota Center, as part of Toyota Center Reimagined.

Designed by Generator Studio, the Comets player spaces include:

🪞 Locker Room + Grooming Suite: Cream upholstery, warm lighting, and frosted glass lockers set a boutique tone. Inside the grooming suite, twelve individual vanity spots line the wall, each with a mirror, storage, and an outlet.

🏀 Practice Court and Weight Room: The 10,000-square-foot practice court opens directly into the weight room, with a nutrition counter at the threshold that puts fuel within the player pathway.

⚕️ Recovery Amenities: The hydrotherapy suite, sauna, and steam room sit directly adjacent to the Comets locker room, keeping recovery close to the players.

Houston deserves this. Comets fans deserve this. Here's to what's next.
