I'm Jackie, NOT a master gardener, simply a passionate flower grower with roots in northern Michigan. My journey into gardening didn't start with formal training - it began with trial and error, family traditions, and a deep love for bringing beauty to life. From helping my mom and grandma plant flowers as a child, to transforming my first home's dull flower beds, I've spent years learning what wo

rks (and most definitely what doesn't). After countless seasons of experimenting, I discovered the joy of growing cut flowers and sharing them with others! What started as a hobby with grow bags on my back porch quickly grew into a roadside flower stand, subscription services, and selling extra stems to local florists. Most recently, I'm expanding my gardens in the countryside, planning a brand new, very large garden, and preparing to launch an LLC! Welcome to Dilly Dally Farm! I'm so glad you're here! This week’s subscription bouquets deserved their own little moment because I just couldn’t pick a favorite. Each one is a little different depending on what was blooming, what colors were calling my name, and apparently whatever mood I was in when I picked up the stems. 😂

A little flower farmer confession… 🌸

Growing the flowers? I can do that.

Harvesting the flowers? Yep.

Standing in my garage holding 27 stems and wondering WHY ON EARTH they don’t look like the bouquet I pictured in my head? Also me. 😂

I’ve spent a lot of this summer learning, rearranging, taking bouquets apart, putting them back together, staring at them from every angle, and occasionally questioning every decision I’ve ever made. 🤣

But today… something clicked.

I changed the way I was building my bouquets, and suddenly my hands seemed to understand what my brain has been trying to tell them all summer.

Are they perfect? Nope.

Am I suddenly a professional floral designer? Also nope. 😂

But today I looked at the finished subscription bouquets and thought, “THERE IT IS.”

One of my favorite parts of Dilly Dally Farm has been learning as I go—and letting you all come along for the ride. The flowers may be homegrown, but apparently the flower farmer is still growing too. 🌸

And today? She’s feeling pretty darn proud of these. ❤️
