I'm Jackie, NOT a master gardener, simply a passionate flower grower with roots in northern Michigan. My journey into gardening didn't start with formal training - it began with trial and error, family traditions, and a deep love for bringing beauty to life. From helping my mom and grandma plant flowers as a child, to transforming my first home's dull flower beds, I've spent years learning what works (and most definitely what doesn't). After countless seasons of experimenting, I discovered the joy of growing cut flowers and sharing them with others! What started as a hobby with grow bags on my back porch quickly grew into a roadside flower stand, subscription services, and selling extra stems to local florists. Most recently, I'm expanding my gardens in the countryside, planning a brand new, very large garden, and preparing to launch an LLC! Welcome to Dilly Dally Farm! I'm so glad you're here! Expect things to be a little clumsy, a lot of fun, and wonderfully laid-back as I learn the ropes and grow beautiful blooms right alongside you.

Fun facts about Jackie: As much as I love and already miss flower season, I’m definitely a fall and winter girl! I do not handle the heat and humidity well, and I’m much happier when it’s cold outside. Golden hour in the fall is my favorite. I love trees and I reallllly love sandwiches 🤎

Just because the flowers are gone doesn’t mean the work stops! I’ve been digging dahlia tubers, pulling spent blooms and all…..the…..weeds….., tucking the garden beds in for winter, and hoping to plant 2,500 tulip bulbs this weekend! 😂 Not to mention building one more row of beds, hauling more dirt and dreaming of a big spot outside the fence for rows and rows of peonies and yarrow, my favorite perennials ❤️

Meanwhile, I’ve traded buckets of blooms for cozy creations, including Bloom Butters, Simmer Blends, Bud Bars, Blossom Balms, and Home Mist, working on even more new products and winter scents, and preparing for hopefully joining the Alpena Farmer’s market for the holiday season!

🍂 Something cozy has been brewing at Dilly Dally Farm! 🍂

Flower season may be over, but I’ve been busy creating something new, and I’m SO excited to finally share it with you!

Introducing my newest addition to Dilly Dally Farm… SIMMER BLENDS! 🤎

These little bags are filled with dried fruits, spices, and other aromatic goodies designed to make your home smell warm, cozy, and inviting! Simply add to a pot of water, gently simmer, and enjoy!

I’ve created three blends to start with:

🍎 Apple Orchard – A warm, fruity blend with cozy hints of spice.

🌲 Cozy Cabin – Fresh, woodsy, and a little rustic. Like bringing the outdoors in!

☕ First Cup – Rich, warm, and coffee-inspired. A little coffee shop coziness right in your kitchen!

Each blend is handcrafted, packaged with love, and ready to bring a little extra cozy into your home! 🤎 (And maybe a little trial and error went into making them, too! 😉)

I’m so excited to finally share these with you! I’ll have more details on when and where you can get your hands on them very soon!

🌸 And just like that… flower season 2026 is officially a wrap! 💐

Today I put together my final subscription bouquets, and it’s definitely bittersweet! 🥹

To say this season was humbling would be an understatement. When I say I built my flower garden from the ground up, I mean LITERALLY. Fence posts went up, then garden beds, then mountains of dirt, thousands of seeds, a second flower stand and two water tank systems. All while questioning my sanity on a fairly regular basis. 😂

I spent SO MANY HOURS in this garage staring at flowers and arranging and taking apart and rearranging and second guessing myself thinking I’m not cut out for this, and somewhere along the way I figured it out. Not entirely though 😉

But somewhere between the dirt, sweat, and chaos, I grew a flower farm! ❤️ I tackled my first wedding, launched subscriptions and skin care products, ran two flower stands, and gained some truly amazing customers along the way!

To everyone who has supported my small business this season, THANK YOU! You made all the hard work worth it!

And while flower season may be over, Dilly Dally Farm isn’t slowing down! I’ve got some exciting things planned for the holidays, including new products, seasonal scents, and plenty of gift-worthy goodies! 🎄

As for 2027? Bigger gardens, more flowers, and even bigger dreams! 🌻

Mother Nature humbled me, the bees tried to take me out, and somehow I survived to grow another year. 😂❤️
