Most mold problems don’t get solved…
they get misdiagnosed or covered up.
Here’s the process that actually works—from start to finish:
1. ERMI Testing
A dust-based DNA test that shows if mold is present over time.
It tells you there may be a problem—but not where it is.
2. Whole Home Analysis
Looking at the home as a system—moisture, airflow, HVAC, and structure.
Because mold is always tied to water + environment.
3. Detection (Mold Dog or Inspector)
This is where the source gets located.
Whether it’s hidden behind walls, under floors, or in the system—
you need to pinpoint the origin, not guess.
4. IEP (Indoor Environmental Professional)
They take the findings and build a remediation protocol—
a clear, step-by-step plan to fix the problem properly.
5. Remediation
Not spraying. Not covering.
Removing contaminated materials, fixing the moisture source, and controlling spread.
6. Post-Remediation Verification
Final testing to confirm the environment is back to a safe baseline.
Skip a step… and you risk doing it twice.
Follow the full process… and you fix it the right way.
If you’re not getting clear answers, it’s usually because one of these steps is missing.
