This home had previous replacement windows already showing problems, so we took extra time to correct the opening, protect the existing trim, square everything properly, and reinforce the new slider setup so it performs the way it should long term.

If the window frame is still solid and performing well, replacing the insulated glass unit can make sense.

But if the frame is drafty, worn out, difficult to operate, or showing signs of seal failure, replacing only the glass often leaves the bigger issues untouched.
