An early morning for Jen + Court, and what a privilege it was to hear from Greg Gregory, the visionary behind the Marshall building we call home.
One message stood out above the rest: growth happens when people choose to invest. And investment isn’t always financial—it’s showing up, believing in your community + being willing to be part of the change you hope to see.
Downtown Lancaster is filled with opportunity. Empty buildings become thriving spaces when people have the vision to bring them back to life, but that only happens when property owners are willing to invest in the future of their community + open their spaces to new ideas. Growth requires people who are willing to share their properties, restore historic buildings + create places where entrepreneurs + families can thrive. White Street is proof of what’s possible. We hear it every day from our customers—they love what Mr. Gregory has created + so do we. We’re incredibly grateful for our downtown neighbors + the community being built around us.
Lancaster is on the brink of something special. Ready or not, growth is coming + while change can feel uncertain, it can also bring new jobs, new opportunities + renewed hope for generations to come. As much as we’d all love to see new restaurants + exciting attractions, what our town truly needs is sustainable growth that gives families a reason to stay + young adults a reason to build their futures right here at home.
We’re excited to watch our hometown continue to evolve into a place that reflects the charm + vibrancy of Camden, Chester + Conway while preserving the heart that makes Lancaster so special.
At 111, we have big dreams for this city we love. More than anything, we pray that God continues to use us to help cultivate beauty, support local growth + leave Lancaster even better than we found it.
The future is bright + we’re honored to be a small part of the story.🤍
