This powder room transformation proves just how impactful thoughtful design choices can be! 💫

A little color, the right materials, and statement lighting can completely change how a space feels. The forest green tile creates a dramatic focal point, while the smoked-glass pendants and brass accents add warmth and a jewelry-like finishing touch to the space.

To keep the narrow layout feeling open, we carried the tile and warm wood detailing all the way to the ceiling, drawing the eye upward and giving the small footprint a more expansive feel.

Still pinching myself! This month we celebrate 10 YEARS of JKD! 🤎

What started with a dream, a whole lot of determination, and a love for creating meaningful spaces has grown into something more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Looking back at where it all began and seeing what JKD has become today feels incredibly emotional, humbling, and deeply rewarding.

To every client, collaborator, friend, and team member who has been part of this journey over the last decade, thank you. Your trust, support, and belief in JKD have made these 10 years possible.

This home was designed to feel layered, collected, and deeply livable, balancing timeless architectural details with a warm, modern sensibility. Throughout the spaces, rich wood tones, sculptural forms, tailored upholstery, and curated vintage-inspired accents create a feeling that is both elevated and inviting. 〰

Our kitchen crush, forever and always... 🤍 The warmth, the contrast, and the thoughtful details that reveal themselves slowly make this kitchen remodel one of our absolute favorites. We custom designed the vent hood to act as the focal point of the space, bringing in sculptural lines and soft brass accents that feel both timeless and unexpected. The neutral palette keeps everything feeling calm and elevated, while the added archway softens the space and brings in a layer of architectural character. Take a peek at the last slide to see our custom island design, complete with a soft glow that truly comes alive in the evenings ✨ 〰

White oak shelving, black marble mosaic, blue cabinets, and an arched detail that ties it all together! 🖤 It’s the perfect combination of function and beauty, without losing a single square foot of storage. 〰
