Open floor plans are great for entertaining, but sometimes you need a quiet, dedicated workspace. For this project, I transformed an open area of the home into a spacious private office by framing and finishing new walls that blended seamlessly with the existing layout.

To keep the space functional without sacrificing flow, I installed a beautiful double pocket door system that can be opened up or closed off for privacy whenever needed. Another shower brought back to life with a clean, modern upgrade.

Rene-a-Papa installed large 12”x24” tiles for a sleek, spacious look, paired with a vertical accent stripe made from glass pebbles. Instead of using the standard mesh backing, each pebble was removed and set by hand—this allows for tighter spacing, better coverage, and a much more natural, custom finish.

Stainless steel niches were added for a sharp, functional touch, and the tile was carried seamlessly around the window to keep everything cohesive and watertight.

Another shower brought back to life 💧

This project started with a tub that wasn’t level, causing water to sit in the corners—never a good sign for long-term use. Rent-a-Papa corrected the issue by properly leveling and securing the tub to ensure proper drainage and performance.

From there, the shower was rebuilt the right way:
✔️ New backer board for a solid, moisture-resistant foundation
✔️ Clean, precise tile installation
✔️ Custom recessed niche for added storage and convenience

To finish it off, we added a glass mosaic accent stripe featuring blue glass tile, giving the space a fresh look with just the right pop of color.

Function fixed, style upgraded. Done right the first time.
