We knew this trash can was getting bad when the squirrels started treating it like an all-you-can-eat buffet! 😂🐿️

Today, our hearts are heavy.

As a firefighter-owned and operated business, tragedies like this hit especially close to home. We are deeply saddened by the Line of Duty Death of Master Deputy Jillian Olson of the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.

Since joining the Sheriff’s Department in 2021, Master Deputy Olson dedicated herself to serving and protecting the people of Lexington County. In just a few short years, she earned the respect of her fellow deputies through her professionalism, commitment, and unwavering dedication to her community. Her service left a lasting impact, and her loss is one that will be felt throughout our community for years to come.

As a firefighter working within Lexington County, I have had the privilege of working side by side with the men and women of the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department for over a decade on countless calls. Over the years, I’ve come to know many of these deputies personally, and I’m proud to call several of them close friends. Seeing them grieve the loss of one of their own is absolutely heartbreaking.

From all of us at The Can Man, we extend our deepest condolences to Master Deputy Olson’s family, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, and every first responder mourning this tremendous loss.

Please keep her loved ones, her law enforcement family, and everyone affected by this tragedy in your thoughts and prayers.

Rest easy, Master Deputy Olson. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your dedication to our community. You will never be forgotten.
