Ground has been broken at WSU!

We have officially broken ground at St. Paul! Over the next few weeks we will be tearing up asphalt, improving plumbing, pouring a new parking lot, and starting a new rectory. Please pray for us and the workers!

This project will change the face of Catholic Church in this diocese.

Exciting times at St. Paul! The construction of their new rectory will begin this week!!!

Construction begins this week at St. Paul! We will be creating more parking, adding a second entrance to our parking from 17th Street, and building a new rectory capable of allowing several priests to live together in community! Please pray for us on this journey of growth.

Parking at St. Paul will be limited throughout the summer. The area directly in front of the Center will be open, and the lot to the north will open up later in the summer. However, visitors are always able to park in the Wichita State lot directly to the west of us at any time of day in the summer, and people can use the lot to the Northwest after 5pm and on weekends.

Thank you for your patience as we grow and let us know if you have any questions!

We can’t wait to have Evergreene join the team and begin the decorative painting.

Thank you to David LeBlanc on his great work on the design and detailing of the North American Martyrs communion rails!

New Communion rails were recently added to North American Martyrs Church in northwest Lincoln. The polished wood rails offer an opportunity for the faithful to take more time as they receive the Blessed Sacrament, whether kneeling or standing.

Father Nathan Hall was approached by some parishioners about the idea of adding Communion rails not long after he was assigned pastor of the parish in June 2022. However, he decided to delay forming an opinion.

The following summer, North American Martyrs Parish enlisted the help of a consulting service to discern a fresh mission statement and accomplish other goals. During an open forum that was part of that process, the idea of adding Communion rails was part of the conversation.
