Floor Systems is family owned and operated. We have been in business for over 30 years and are known Due to staff changes, we have changed our hours.

Our retail SHOWROOM is closed on Mondays and will now be closing at 1pm on Saturdays.

✅ Put a pumpkin somewhere near the bed for reasons
✅ Pretend you'll actually use that decorative blanket ladder
✅ Call it done and refuse to leave this room until April

The floors, however, were already perfect. Some things don't need a seasonal update. 😂

One of the best things you can do for your hardwood floors heading into fall and winter? Control the humidity in your home. 🌡️

Here's why it matters:

🪵 Wood is a natural material that expands and contracts with moisture levels. Low winter humidity, especially once the heat kicks on, can cause planks to shrink and gaps to form between them.

💧 The ideal indoor humidity level for hardwood floors is between 35 and 55 percent.

🌬️ Running a humidifier in the colder months can make a real difference in how your floors look and perform over time.

🧹 Avoid wet mopping hardwood in any season. A slightly damp mop or a hardwood-specific cleaner is all you need.
