A closer look at the primary suite inside Hearth House. 🤍

Designed with mountain living in mind, the space layers natural materials, earthy tones, warm woods, and soft lighting to create a retreat that feels refined yet comfortable at the same time.

We absolutely love the wallpaper in the bedroom. It brings in so much depth and softness while still feeling grounded within the overall palette of the home. The stone detailing behind the tub adds beautiful texture surrounding the window overlooking the trees, creating a quiet connection to the landscape outside.

A breakfast nook worth sitting at on the daily. 🌞

It’s such a cozy corner with natural light pouring in, intentionally layered decor, and the smell of fresh flowers filling the space.

Meet Hearth House ✨

Set along the trails, Hearth House was thoughtfully reimagined around the rhythms of mountain living and the way this family truly spends time together throughout every season.

Ski days flow into cozy evenings by the fire, winter gear has a place to land after long days on the slopes, and every space was designed to feel welcoming, comfortable, and easy to live in. The mudroom became an especially important part of the home. A functional landing space that still feels warm, elevated, and connected to the overall design of the house.

Throughout the home, layered textures, warm wood tones, and durable materials were carefully selected to create spaces that feel beautiful without sacrificing comfort or practicality.

More than a renovation, Hearth House became a retreat designed to be lived in fully and returned to year after year.

Introducing Sugarbush Escape ✨

This home holds so much of what we love most about mountain living. Slower mornings, weekends filled with friends and family, ski days followed by cozy evenings in, and spaces that feel just as welcoming as they are beautiful.

Our clients use this Vermont home as their winter retreat, spending seasons enjoying Sugarbush skiing and hiking before returning to Boston and Cape Cod in the warmer months.

While the home had great bones, it originally felt very builder-grade and lacked the warmth, character, and layering they were craving.

Through thoughtful furnishings, custom details, textured materials, and updates throughout the kitchen and primary bath, we transformed the home into something that feels far more personal and connected to the way they live.

From the plaid wallpaper and tailored millwork to the custom office and dining room bar made for gathering after a day on the mountain, every space was designed to feel inviting, relaxed, and lived in.

The final reveal is a true mountain retreat designed for hosting, unwinding, and creating memories season after season.

Anytime we can, we love using patterns to help shape out mountain homes.

Layered plaids, subtle florals, soft stripes, and rich textures bring warmth, depth, and a more collected feeling into a space while still feeling grounded in the landscape around it.

What’s your favorite way to incorporate pattern in your home?

If you’ve been thinking about refreshing your home lately, this is your sign to begin. 🌻

Summer always feels like a natural time to reimagine the spaces we live in. The home feels lighter, the days are longer, and there’s a little more room to notice what’s working, what’s missing, and how you truly want your home to feel.

Sometimes it’s not about a complete renovation. It’s refining the details through furnishings, styling, accessories, texture, and thoughtful layering that make a space feel more elevated, personal, and connected to the way you live every day.

For smaller projects, our scope focuses on furniture and accessories only. We currently have a few summer openings available and would love to hear what you’re envisioning for your home.

A kitchen tour of Sugarbush Escape ✨

There’s something about this kitchen that immediately makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

We really wanted this space to feel like the heart of the home. The place everyone naturally gathers after a long day on the slopes, where dinner lingers a little longer, coffee is always being poured, and memories are made without even thinking about it.

The woodwork throughout the space is incredibly special. It brings so much warmth and character while making the entire home feel inviting from the moment you walk in.

Stay tuned for the full project reveal coming soon.

A peek into our latest design meeting prep. 💫

We have drawers filled with fabrics, finishes, hardware, wood samples, and materials that we pull from and layer together for every presentation. It’s one of our favorite parts of the process because every home asks for something a little different.

Nothing ever comes together instantly. We spend time moving pieces around, mixing textures, comparing tones in different light, and slowly building a direction that feels natural to the home and the family living in it.

It’s thoughtful work, but also one of the most exciting moments because this is where the vision really starts to come alive.

A new chapter for Teaselwood Design ✨

We’re so excited to share our new website. It’s a space that feels like a natural extension of our work: thoughtful, layered, and deeply connected to the way our clients live.

This was such a special collaboration, and we’re incredibly grateful to the team who brought it to life so beautifully .
