One of Macon's most storied congregations, Mulberry United Methodist Church has called Mulberry Street home since 1826. BTBB was proud to help preserve that legacy while preparing it for the future.
As the congregation grew in the early 2000s, BTBB upgraded the existing 70,000-square-foot Gothic Revival facility and added a 3,500-square-foot skylit atrium to provide modern meeting and dining space. A connected porte-cochère now offers a covered, accessible approach for parishioners and guests alike.
Thank you, Mulberry United Methodist Church, for allowing BTBB to be a part of your story.

Rooted in Macon's history since the mid-1800s, Vineville United Methodist Church has been a cornerstone of its community for generations. In 1998, BTBB helped write the next chapter.
The construction of the Christian Life Center effectively doubled the size of the historic 1926 sanctuary campus. The CLC serves the congregation in multiple ways, functioning as a gymnasium, fellowship hall, and modern worship venue, all complemented by an elevated walking track for the community to enjoy.
Thank you, Vineville United Methodist Church, for partnering with BTBB.

Macon was out-reading its libraries! This 15,595-square-foot facility was added to provide a space for children and adults to read, work, and relax. We designed this space with an open concept to allow for the ideal flow.

Connecting two buildings in which floor levels don't align takes creative problem-solving. That's exactly what BTBB brought to Riverside UMC.
The new 16,000-square-foot addition bridges the congregation's 1980s sanctuary and its existing educational building, blending two distinct architectural styles while navigating a tricky split-level challenge where no floors between the structures align. The result is bright, welcoming corridors filled with natural light, new Children's Ministry and administrative spaces, a gathering area outside the sanctuary, and a spacious covered drive-through for ministry operations and weather-friendly drop-off. We're grateful to have helped Riverside UMC bring their campus together seamlessly. BTBB —Celebrating 50 years of design excellence across Georgia!

When three small rural parishes united to form one congregation, they needed a home worthy of their combined spirit.

BTBB designed the 14,000-square-foot St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on a donated 10-acre site in Ray City, complete with a 280-seat sanctuary, soaring vaulted ceilings, a barrel-vaulted gathering lobby, classrooms, a chapel, and even a church bookstore. The rustic brick, stone, and board & batten exterior is crowned by a handsome bell tower. Inside, custom pews bear an insignia of three fish encircling a cross, a symbol of the three parishes now joined as one. The altar, featuring twin kneeling angels, was hand-carved from a single cypress log by one of the parishioners.

Thank you, St. Anthony of Padua, for entrusting BTBB with such a meaningful project.

Macon-Bibb County takes public safety seriously, and this SPLOST-funded project is proof of that commitment.
BTBB replaced an aging facility with a modern three-bay fire station equipped with the latest firefighting technology for rapid response times. The station includes dormitory and common living spaces for crews, a Bibb County Sheriff's Precinct, and a community meeting room. Dedicated to Macon-Bibb County Commissioner Bert Bivins, this station stands as a lasting investment in the safety of Central Macon.

When the Macon-Bibb County Health Department was ready for a space to match its mission, BTBB delivered.
A former orthopedic group campus was transformed into an 18,800-square-foot public health facility, funded through Community Development Block Grant dollars and a local match. Thoughtful design touches, like color-coded wayfinding systems for each department, make the space as functional as it is welcoming. A separate on-campus building, once an orthopedic surgical center, now houses the Environmental Health, Teen Center, and Records departments.

After decades in their former facility, the Peach County Health Department was ready for a fresh start. BTBB helped make it happen.
Using Community Development Block Grant funding and a local match, BTBB reimagined a former private physician's campus into a modern 5,800-square-foot public health facility. The renovation expanded the lobby, created dedicated clinical and WIC check-in areas, and reorganized administrative spaces to maximize efficiency and flow for both staff and patients.
Thank you, Peach County Health Department, for choosing BTBB—proudly serving Georgia communities for 50 years!
