Skip sanding, patching, and priming, and even the best paint job won’t hold — cracks show through, edges peel, and you’re repainting sooner than you think.

Slow down on the front end so the finish actually lasts.

What is our attitude toward warranty claims?

We want to avoid playing the “out of warranty” card. We are honest about what is normal wear and tear vs what should be lasting longer than it is.

Ultimately, if there’s anything we can do within reason to keep your space looking well cared for then that’s what we will do.

Turns out the issue in this video as well as some swelling of the vanity doors was almost certainly due to a big swing in temperature and humidity in the home. We started this project in the winter with heaters inside the house because the home and HVAC were mostly gutted due to extensive mold remediation. These issues were out of control and scope but I wish we had planned better to deal with them. Either way, we’re getting this bathroom back up to the standard.

I’m pleased to announce that Micah is now officially apart of the Alex Bergland team!

For several years now Micah has made a great impression with our clients when he was on the project as a sub-contractor. They often commented that he has a great attitude and they trust him in their home. You can’t teach that. With the expansion of the company it made sense to ask Micah to help the vision grow.
