Our last finished project of the season. This one was on Nagawicka Lake in Delafield, and these photos only show a portion of renovation. Here we rebuilt the existing concrete wall. Lannon stone was installed for the top layer of the wall and for the step risers. Unilock Umbriano capped the wall and was also used for the treads. Other features included salvaged Lannon stone steps built into the retaining wall to serve as benches. Black fractured boulders formed the fire pit, surrounded by bluestone steppers and crushed gravel. A wonderful, but challenging project for some wonderful, easy-going clients!

These clients wanted more patio room and an updated outdoor space, so this is what we did...
- Added Unilock Beacon Hill pavers on both sides of the existing patio.
- Restored the original patio by pressure-washing the pavers, adding polymer sand to the joints and sealing the pavers.
- Installed Lannon cobbles around planting beds with newly planted trees and shrubs.
- Added bluestone steppers to the entrance of the lawn area.
- Replaced the concrete steps to the house with a mortared Bluestone landing.

BEFORE and AFTER...These new clients installed a new patio door and needed a new patio to go with it, and this is the result. Details include a mortared bluestone stoop, Unilock Richcliff pavers with an Arizona flagstone inset, and granite cobbles for a border.

Sometimes it's the fun, smaller jobs, like this one we did in Milwaukee, that yield the best results.

Additions include a raised planter box, pavers around the existing deck, cobble edging, decorative gravel and rocks, retaining wall next to driveway port and a lot of colorful trees, shrubs and perennials.

Another addition to the Japanese Garden in progress. This is a pagoda that we designed, constructed and painted here at our shop. At about 18' tall, it is in 4 pieces. Soon, we will take it down, and piece by piece, transport it carefully to our client's yard.
