Between August 31st and September 4th, we completed the installation of paver curbing as part of an outdoor improvement project. In addition, we finished preparing the base for the driveway extensions, walkways, and patios, ensuring a solid base for these additions. We also poured a new concrete patio, enhancing the outdoor living space. Furthermore, we removed a significant amount of roots from the property.

On August 18th and 19th, we removed an aging driveway and removed all debris from the site using Truck 205 and Truck 202, which hauled multiple loads of the old asphalt away. After the demolition, Truck 205 delivered a load of base material to prepare the repair and extension areas, while Truck 202 brought in 3/4 stone for a drywell drainage system. We also installed in ground sleeves for water sprinkler and electric lines beneath the driveway before paving. Once the sleeves were in place, we completed the installation of the drywell drainage system.

On Friday, August 14th, we returned to Plaza Nine in Manalapan to complete the project. Our team performed crackfilling throughout the parking lot and driveway, carefully sealing any existing cracks to prevent water infiltration and extend the pavement’s lifespan. After the crackfilling was completed, we applied a full sealcoat over the entire surface, providing a fresh, uniform finish that enhances durability and improves the overall appearance of the lot. This final step ensured the parking area was well-protected and restored to optimal condition.

• 8/11/26 & 8/13/26 ~ Drainage Correction And Driveway Repair & Maintenance •

On August 11th, we began a project in the Navesink section of Middletown. The crews began by removing the patched-in concrete and a small section of asphalt along the garage access area to prepare the site. Once these surfaces were cleared, we excavated a trench to install catch basins. Truck 202 removed all the concrete and asphalt debris generated during this process. Meanwhile, our partners from Ryser’s supplied and delivered a load of 3/4-inch stone, which was used to construct the drywell.

After the catch basins were installed and connected with piping to channel water away to the drywell, the crews performed proper backfilling and compacting of the excavated areas to ensure stability and proper drainage.

On August 13th, we returned to the site to patch the area with new asphalt. During this phase, we created swales leading to the drains to effectively direct surface water towards the catch basins. The project was completed with a fresh sealcoat finish, providing a durable and clean surface while enhancing water management around the garage access.

On August 7th, we completed paving a keyway where milling had been done to address a drainage problem in a commercial parking lot. In addition to this, we extended the paving up to a secondary drain to ensure proper water flow. We also installed a new curb edge around the perimeter near the rear exit of the building to enhance both functionality and appearance. These improvements were carried out to resolve existing drainage issues and improve the overall durability and safety of the parking area.

On Wednesday, July 22nd, we completed a driveway addition. We began by excavating the area for the new addition and loading the dirt and debris to be hauled off-site using Truck 202 and Truck 205. Next, we brought in crushed concrete as the base and compacted it thoroughly. We then cut a straight edge on the existing driveway to ensure a smooth transition between the old driveway and the new addition. After that, we installed the new asphalt and compacted it. Finally on the existing section, we cleaned the cracks, applied crack filler, and edged the driveway in preparation for sealing.
