After 15+ years designing spaces, I can tell you these aren’t just trends…they’re a shift in how people want to feel at home.

🎨Color Drenching - One moody hue on everything. Cool grays are gone.

🪵Darker Wood - White washed oak is still in but people are moving to more deep, warm stains with actual character.

🪨Texture as Luxury - Natural stone, plaster walls, textured tile. Tactile over flat.

⚪️Arched Doorways - Soft curves bringing old world elegance into modern homes.

Amazing what a little paint and new cabinetry can do for a space!🪄

We kept it simple but effective:

Paint colors:

• Walls: Benjamin Moore Classic Gray
• Cabinets: Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace
• Island: White oak with Simply White stain
rubbed on and off to cut the yellow/pink undertones

👏The light and bright transformation speaks for itself. Sometimes the biggest impact comes from getting the basics right.

That white oak island is the best part, we get tons of questions about our process and how we the natural beauty in tact.

Thinking about window treatments? Here are a few of our go-to tips to keep your home feeling cohesive and custom:

Meet Realist Beige by Sherwin Williams - the neutral that’s about to become your new obsession 🤎

Why we’re obsessed:

→ It’s warm without being yellow
→ Pairs perfectly with white cabinetry
→ Adds depth without being dark

🎨Choosing the perfect paint color is one of the most important (and satisfying) parts of our design process.

For this custom kitchen, we sampled several shades before landing on Realist Beige by .

We were looking for a light mushroom tone—something with just enough warmth and depth to complement the white oak island and balance the bright white walls of the open floor plan.

It’s all about creating contrast without overwhelming the space. 🙌 What do you think of this color?! Yay or nay?
