Did you know Judy Blume has a bookstore? When I visited Key West with Hector a few years ago, we decided to hop in Judy Blumeā€™s bookstore, and I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever fangirled this hard. šŸ„°I was so hoping she would be in her store, and to my surprise she was!

Seriously, look to see this dining room before! It was PILED with years of clutter and was soooo dark and dingy!

Itā€™s amazing to see what happens when you remove old sheetrock, slap on some paint and wallpaper and refinish the floors and ceilings! Then, add in a timeless, vintage table and cool rug, and this space is as good as new!

Oh my goodness! I just saw that Minden Main Street District just won the 2026 Main Street award from the Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation!!!! This is such a huge accomplishment for our town. Congrats to our amazing director Sarah Overall and Nick Cox Minden Mayor!!!

We are SO excited about the upcoming Redeemed & Restyled Fashion Show in downtown Minden this coming Saturday night.

This is a fundraiser for two amazing nonprofits, & Phillipā€™s Cottage, both of who which poor into the lives of women who need second chances.

Yesterday the Amadea girls came into our shop to pick out their outfits! They are going to look absolutely adorable! We canā€™t to show you what they picked out to wear in the fashion show.

When renovating Phillipā€™s Cottage, every inch of progress in this cottage paved the way for women and children to find stability.

When I walked into Phillipā€™s Cottage during the renovation phase and saw the sheetrock going up, I got teary. Because it wasnā€™t just walls going upā€”itā€™s lives that get to be rebuilt. Itā€™s a mama whoā€™s been through the fire finally getting a safe place to tuck her babies in at night. Itā€™s a woman whoā€™s fought her way back finally finding peace, safety, and dignity.

This cottage isnā€™t about finishes and fixtures.

Itā€™s about second chances.
Itā€™s about healing.
Itā€™s about hope showing up in the form of fresh paint and clean sheets and a door that always opens.

Phillipā€™s Cottage is officially open and weā€™ve already welcomed women and children this home was made for. But we canā€™t do it alone.
