We got the opportunity to replace another member of our Henson Air Repair LLC family's heat pump system. They were having big water issues with the old unit due to multiple refrigerant leaks causing the coil to freeze often as well as a bad blower motor and drain design. Unfortunately the cost of repairs for their 14 yr old system would have been too much to justify. We got them back up and running in less than 6 hours! What a blessing!!! I just got to replace my mom and dad's heat pump system! 😃! Of all the systems I've had to replace over almost 15 years, this one truly blessed me the most! My 14 yr old son, stayed on my side for the entire process and he learned a LOT! But being able to honor my parents like this is something I pray everyone in our industry gets to experience! I got a No-heat call for a unit in a mobile home that only had electric strip heat as the primary heating source. I quickly realized that the wire had been burned up and that, that, needed to be repaired. After I quickly repaired that wire, I was able to restore their hear and ensure that the heat sequencer was functioning properly and I was able to save him several hundreds of dollars! I got their heat up and running very well! On a side note, this is how Henson Air Repair LLC takes care of its family, I went ahead and replaced the fill and flush valves for both of his toilets because they were bad and constantly running up his electric bill. In fact, most HVAC companies will not even entertain doing this kind of repair considering how much time it takes to successfully replace the damaged parts and then stand behind their repairs. I just replaced a natural gas pool heater for Fairfield Inn on Candlers mountain road. The old heater needed to be cleaned and repaired every other morning for the last few months! This new unit will relieve the staff of this task and provide their guests with a nice, warm pool to swim in during these colder months.
