Taco Bell is coming to Rayville, LA just a few miles south of the new multi-billion dollar Meta Data Center. The store will open in the first week of May. It's the first new building for 2026 with eight more to follow. B & G Food Enterprises now has over 230 stores in 5 coastal states. Constructed by Horizon General Contractors.

Taco Bell in Tammaron, Katy, Texas opens on Wednesday. The process from permitting through numerous inspections has been challenging to say the least, but the finished product looks great. This is store number 216 in five Gulf Coast states for B & G Food Enterprises, Inc. with more to come. We are proud to have designed their first store over 42 years ago and all of those many others in the years since. We value our long term relationship with the company and the especially with the Hamer family.

Two states, four new Taco Bells, all opened in nineteen days in December. Eight new restaurants in three states in 2024 for B & G Food Enterprises, our client for over 40 years. Now with over 200 locations in five coastal states, we are proud to have played a small part in their continuing success. Congratulations to B & G's opening teams and their facility managers for a job well done and contractors, Horizon General Contractors, Anchor Construction Management and Jerry Kachel Builder. New stores are located in Grand Bay, Alabama, Many and Port Allen, LA, Houston, Katy, Magnolia, and Seabrook Texas.

Three new Taco Bells for B & G Food Enterprises, LLC in the Houston area are opening in a three week period. 1. Magnolia, Texas. 2. Southmore Road, Pasadena, Texas, and Elyson, Katy, Texas. Four more are under construction for completion this year in Houston and Seabrook, Texas and Port Allen and Many, Louisiana. Total store count in December, 2024, will be 210 stores in five states. B & G is an amazing success story and we are proud to have been with them since designing their first restaurant over 40 years ago in Morgan City.

Press Release: St. Mary Parish School Board

Construction Begins at Morgan City High School Stadium

Construction on renovations to the Morgan City High School Stadium and Track will begin on Tuesday morning, May 20th. The facility will be closed and locked for the duration of the project
and there will be no public access due to safety concerns.
Work includes Life Safety Code improvements including new railings and fencing for the stadium, cleaning, painting and waterproofing, and replacement of the home side stadium lighting with new poles and LED fixtures.
The existing track surface will be removed and replaced with a new urethane material providing a state of the art track surface. New field event areas for high jump, long/triple jump and pole vault will be installed and topped with the same urethane surface.
Construction completion is scheduled prior to the start of the 2024 football season. The MCHS Stadium was constructed in the late 50’s. The project is funded from District 3 Maintenance Funds and was designed by local architectural firm, Carl P. Blum AIA Architect. Contractor is Geosurfaces, Inc.

An update on our Raw Sugar Warehouse project for the West St. Mary Port Commission. Our drone shot makes 122,000 SF look like a foam mass model ... you don't often see a concrete pump Inside of a building , but here it is ... and you are looking at an angled steel plate panel atop a 12" thick x 10 ft. high concrete wall that will keep sugar from spilling over the wall. Miller Engineers, Inc. is prime and ARL Construction is the contractor on our ahead of schedule and on budget project. Completion is scheduled later in the spring.
