Due to the upcoming extreme cold, snow, and icy conditions, please take immediate steps to ensure your plumbing is properly prepared to avoid freezing or damage.

Do not shut off the water to the house. Allow both hot and cold faucets to run at a steady stream about the width of the lead in a pencil. Hot water can freeze faster than cold water.

In the event of a power outage, water should still be running to your home; however, you will not have hot water.
