An oldie, but goodie from 1887, Madame Caroline Testout. She has graced my rose gardens for many years, made it though some harsh winters, and stays a manageable size. I find her 'charming'!

I love this rose. The blooms are perfection in form, they smell fabulous, and the peachy pinky apricot blend (is that a color! LOL) is beautiful. In my zone 6b near Lake Michigan, She gets pruned down quite a bit each spring, but she always bounces back and makes me take notice. She's a climber, a sport of Aloha, which I also grow, and love.
I will have a few plants of her this June when my new website opens

Hey everyone! A separate email was sent to all subscribers on our website hummingbirdroses.net, but for those of you who have not subscribed, wanted to let you know that we are delaying the opening of the website for sales now until sometime mid June, with shipping to shortly follow. We got such a late start propagating last season and the baby roses just are not looking like they will be ready to go in a couple weeks. With the weather warming (finally) they should start putting on the growth they need, so unfortunately we are delaying the opening by a month. I know you all want healthy strong roses delivered, since that is what I expect when I buy roses myself.
Here is a 'sampling' of some of the varieties that will be available once the site opens in June.
AUSled
AUStop
AUSgrab
AUSbells
AUSham
AUSron
AUSorts
AUSao
AUSsal
AUSbite
AUSwith
AUSbonny
AUSwill
And yes, we grown more than English Roses, but this is our focus, because this is where my collection resides and what is most in demand.
So, thank you for your patience. We will open, just a bit later than we had hoped for. There is only so much encouragement you can give a plant to have it grow faster!

Thank you,
Mindy & Bob Rosenberger

I do not like it …. Not one bit…..

This is the worst thing about living where we do. Tons of these ( hog nose) and tons of blue racers. The blue racers will chase you!

One of my favorite roses, I rarely hear mentioned, so I am going to brag on her today. The Faun. It's considered a Floribunda, but behaves more like a polyantha in stature. She is great in the front of the bed, not only for her beauty, but she behaves and stays 2-3 feet in my zone 6 climate, and sprawls a little bit. She looks like a miniature old fashioned rose. Sadly, no fragrance to speak of, but disease resistant for me, which is a definite plus, and can take some shade.

Isn't she lovely?

We will be offering a few this spring when the website opens.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions or knowledge on getting my HelpMeFind premium membership renewed? I have been trying for months to do so, and when I go to pay/renew, it keeps telling me the page is broken.
When I use the site, after a few lookup's I get this message telling me not to take advantage of the site and to become a member. That makes me feel guilty, but I've tried so many times that I get frustrated and give up, and I don't see a way to contact them even.
I thought I saw a while back about a new page, but I did a google search and the site coming up is doing the same thing that I bookmarked that I've always used. 🤷‍♀️
Thanks in advance if you have any suggestions!!
