Well I haven't posted anything in some time. I figured I would do something different. The other day my favorite hand tool broke. Now this is not a fancy tool, just a simple one. But it was my go to tool. I have had this tool pretty much my whole career. It has done so many things and alot of project. It's been used as a scraper, putty knife, mixer, and the list goes on. As I age with my career and tools start wear out, makes you appreciate the small things in life. Do you have a favorite hand tool?

Well end of last week didn't go to plan. On this kitchen remodel and I was re-working the electrical and found that some of the wire were chewed on. Which lead to changing out the wire. That's life. Can't wait to see what the kitchen will look like when its finished. I'm doing white cabinet's with glass tile back splash and butcher block countertop. Will post more pictures as I move though each step. Hope everyone has a great evening.

What a good week to put up a new deck. As my luck goes, nothing can go smoothly. It's not that bad. A little water damage, because a lack of flashing. Fix the wall and started the framing of the deck. But anyway I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday before the rain comes in on Sunday.

Well my Friday didn't go as planned. Simple window job turned into a mess. So much damage from termites. Now we are re-framing a wall and doing sheetrock. I know the frame sill had some water damage and rot, but not the whole wall. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Good morning Neosho!! What a lovely day to re-face a deck. Out with the old wood floor, in with Trex decking. Had to do some repairs on the framing, but not too bad. Low maintenance and don't have to re-stain every 2 years. Just a light washing and you are good to go. Power washing will destroy the coating on the Trex, so that's not recommended. But anyway I can keep rambling on. Hope everyone has a great day.

Thing's I do to keep working. Here on a Saturday morning shoveling snow off the deck so I can start it this week. Replacing the floor with trex deck and building new step. Will keep you posted on the progress.
